me too!!! i can’t imagine a world without internet… well, i actually i can. but i’d lose half of my money-making rackets if the internet became extinct. so, i’m still thankful i’m online too!

agree, we can only look at the bright side of things for so long. it’s only a matter of time when people start a riot or something. it is, i believe, in the same way that i can only stomach a blocked torrent port for so long. it’s only a matter of time until i start my own telco. hehe. investors, anyone?

I agree with all the advancements and what not, but a good idea is nothing until you actually deliver it.

To an extent, I’m happy because people are actually asserting themselves. The worse thing that could happen (which already did actually, in the OS world at least) is lowered expectations: putting up with all these viruses and crashes, as well as putting up with severely long downtime and broken promises from tech support.

Then again, there’s the issue of too much expectation, whether that stemmed from hype, or the occasional taste of burst speed.

Looking at the bright side is always nice. But that can only go so far. In the end, someone gave the service, and that someone must be accountable not out of SLA, but out of good will and good business.

(but it’s a monopoly. tsk)

It was refreshing to read your blog. Although I am not much of a techie, I got the gist of things.
